Peace & Serenity gîtes is a family holiday accommodation. If you want to holiday in dordogne France . With Limoges airport just 45 mins drive, you can enjoying the french countryside and be on holiday in France relaxing in the Perigord Vert area of outstanding beautiful forest in the "Parc Naturel Regional Perigord Limousin".
It is an excellent area for walks, cycling, exploring caves, food, wine, chateaux, lakes, swimming, canoeing, markets and restaurants . You need never be bored.
Relax kick back and relax by our pool in the peace and quiet and admire the wonderful views with lots of secure space for the children to play.
If you like Family holiday accommodation for a larger group please call for availability to use both gîtes together catering for up to up to 12 people.
There are two gîtes here for a holiday in Dordogne, they are a self catering accommodation for up to 6 people in each gîte. We can offer
a cot on please request when booking for each one.
You can enjoy your holiday with all the family, re-connect with each other in a safe natural environment , play, cook, eat together.
Both gîtes have the use of gardens and shared pool . with each having a private terrace area.
There are all the amenities of modern life a family requires: easy access by foot to village shops and restaurants, pharmacy, boulangerie, bar-tabac-presse, post office. It is a lovely 15 minute walk to the local lake with a beach and swimming area.

With great views across the garden & trees, on into the countryside there's a large grassed area great for relaxing in whilst the children get to let off steam, kick a football around whilst still being secured with fencing all around.

There is a wonderful variety of wild life all around being in rural France, wild herbs and insects, birds, fish, lizzard, frogs .
We encourage children to investigate but ask they don't destroy habitats.
Nature just thrives here. In the evening you can sometimes see bats. The garden is humming with bees and butterflies. We are also on the migrational flight path for white cranes.

Day permits can be purchased in the village during fishing season for the Grand Etang which has won the awards for clean water several years running .
Children's Certificate of achievement awards
We like to encourage children to get the most out of their Holiday also. If we can encourage them to engage with the environment and get active.
We have found certificates of achievements have been popular. So we offer them for Walking Trails and swimming lengths of the pool, Drawings of historical sights/ wildlife identifications.
